    If you visited Kaziranga then shall understand that – one visit isn’t enough to explore. Domestic as well as International tourists are appreciating the natural beauty of the place along with the flora and fauna of Kaziranga. The distance to Kaziranga from Guwahati is about 200 km and it takes about three hours to reach Kaziranga from Guwahati. Guwahati is well connected by flight and rail from Delhi and Kolkata.       DAY WISE ITINERARY - 6N/7D

      You will be received at the airport/railway station in Guwahati by our representative. Then transferred to Shillong, shortly after which we will take a halt to witness the breathtaking sight of Umiam Lake, which is considered to be the largest man-made lake of North East. Check-in at a pre-booked hotel in Shillong. Overnight stay at the hotel Shillong.

      Today, post sumptuous breakfast, you will proceed for a excursion to the hill station. You will be visiting top attractions of the place, such as the astounding Don Bosco Museum (Sunday close ), Ward’s Lake, Cathedral, the mesmerizing Lady Hydari Park (Monday Close), and Police Bazar etc.. The evening will be free at leisure for you to relax and re-energize. Overnight stay at Hotel Shillong .

      Entire Day Cherrapunjee Local, Includes, Today post breakfast, you will proceed to Cherrapunji. On midway you will visit the breathtaking Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak to enjoy the scenic view of the city from above.Upon arrival at Cherrapunji, we will commence with our sightseeing tour and visit famous attractions such as Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Caves. Overnight stay at Hotel Cherrapunjee .

      Post breakfast, we will proceed to visit the cleanest village of Asia – Mawllynnong. You will also get a chance to explore the nearby villages and witness the amazing living root bridges.Later on, you will be transferred to the international border of Bangladesh, wherein you will be visiting Dawki Village. This village is known for having some of the cleanest rivers, a classic example of which is the enchanting Umngot River.Later on, you will return to Shillong for a relaxing overnight stay.       Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Guwahati. If time permits, afternoon visit to Basistha Ashram, Srimanta Sankaradev Kalakshetra, ‘Jagran’ store for authentic Assamese silks & handicrafts.       After breakfast roaming for Kamakhya darshan. The Kamakhya Temple at Nilachal hills in Guwahati, Assam is one of the oldest and most revered centres of Tantric practices, dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya. The temple is the center of the Kulachara Tantra Marga and the site of the Ambubachi Mela, an annual festival that celebrates the menstruation of the goddess.

      After breakfast check out from hotel and drop at Guwahati Airport / Railway station as per timings. The trip ends with sweet travel memories.

        The Management and their team are very caring for the customers but they must take additional care for Heritage Tejpur regarding their services else go for its replacement. The ambience as well as behavior and quality of food including breakfast of Lungta Residency, Four Seasons Dirang and Baligora Nameri are very good. As regards Tenjing Guest House the ambience and behavior is very good but options for complementary breakfast should be added as well as the food quality. The prices of food of Baligora is very high but good. The Management of Baligora Nameri Camp must try to have a reasonable price for the food.
