In this guide, we explore the best times to plan a 5 Night 6 Day Bhutan package tour from Mumbai to ensure you experience the country's natural beauty at its best.

MONSOON [JUN - AUG]

The monsoon season in Bhutan, from June to August, brings occasional drizzles and heavy rains, which can cause landslides and roadblocks, making travel challenging. Due to these weather conditions, it's generally not recommended to plan a Bhutan 5 nights / 6 days tour from Mumbai during this time. The lush landscapes can be beautiful, but the potential for disrupted travel makes it an unfavorable season for visitors.

AUTUMN [SEP - NOV]

Autumn in Bhutan, from September to November, brings pleasant weather with minimal rainfall, making it an ideal time for sightseeing and outdoor exploration. This season is also a fantastic time for cultural experiences, as it coincides with vibrant festivals such as the Black-Necked Crane Festival and Paro Tshechu. With the clear skies and mild temperatures, autumn is one of the best times to book a 6 Days sightseeing Tour in Bhutan from Mumbai.

WINTER [DEC - FEB]

The winter months in Bhutan, from December to February, are characterized by harsh cold temperatures, with sub-zero conditions in the northern regions and heavy snowfall in cities like Thimphu and Paro. Despite the cold, winter in Bhutan offers a unique charm, with cultural festivals such as Monggar Tshechu and Trashigang Tshechu providing a rare insight into Bhutanese traditions. If you don't mind the cold, this can be an excellent time for a Eastern Bhutan package tour, offering a tranquil and picturesque winter experience.

SPRING [MAR - MAY]

Spring (March to May) : Spring, from March to May, is widely regarded as the best time to visit Bhutan. During this season, the valleys and streets come alive with blooming Jacaranda and Rhododendron flowers, providing a stunning, vibrant backdrop for travellers. Dzong means "fort," and these structures were originally built for defence during invasions. Today, they serve as administrative centers and monastic hubs. The National Memorial Chorten : It is a site for evening prayer. The chorten or stupa was built in the memory of the third king, continuously circumambulated by people, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels. Construction of this landmark was the idea of Bhutan's third king, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk ("the father of modern Bhutan") who has wished to erect monument to world peace and prosperity. Completed in 1974 after his untimely death, it serves both as a memorial to the Late King and as a monument to peace.

Sakyamuni Buddha : On the top of Kuensel Phodrang hill sits the statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. The 51.5 meter long bronze statue would surely attract you and the uninterrupted view of the valley would leave you spellbound. The site is also known as Buddha View Point.

Changangkha Lhakhang : At Thimphu you will go across several monasteries and temples. Changangkha Lhakhang is among the most important religious structures in Thimphu. You will also enjoy the grand view of Thimphu valley from here.

Today is the most exciting day of this Bhutan trip from Mumbai for 5 Night 6 Days. After breakfast, start for Taktsang Hiking.

Taktsang Monastery : If you can brave the risky cliffs on a high mountain, Paro will astonish you in the form of Taktsang Monastery. After covering 1200 meters on a fierce cliff you will reach this sacred site, also known as the Tiger's Nest. Return back hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight in Paro. In this way the 4th day of Bhutan package tour from Mumbai for 5 Night 6 Days ends.

Today morning after breakfast, start for Chele-La Pass. Located at an elevation of about 3,988 meters (13,083 feet), it is one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan. Chele-La Pass is also known for its scenic beauty, with forests of pine and rhododendron trees that bloom in vibrant colors, especially in the spring. The area is a popular spot for photography and nature walks. The high altitude means that the weather can be quite cold, even in summer, so it's advisable to dress warmly.

After this wonderful day trip, return back to hotel, have delicious lunch and take rest. Evening is free for leisure, shopping or hot stone bath at Paro.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and move towards Phuentsholing. On the way take a halt at Chukha dam. Have some tea/coffee or snacks as you wish. Again start towards Phuentsholing. Our Bhutan tour was booked through Adorable Vacation and was one of the best experiences we have had. Everyone, from the driver in India to the Bhutan guide, Mr. Sagar and the driver Mr. Leki, was very supportive, cooperative and helpful. The Team was constantly in touch with us over whatsApp and if we ever had a query, it was very promptly and seamlessly resolved. The Hotel in Thimpu and the Resort in Paro, both were well chosen and were very good properties indeed. Highly recommend booking your Bhutan tour from Mumbai with Adorable Vacation. They seem to have a customer first policy and every action was well thought out and highly customer/guest centric.

Hi Adorable Vacation, we had a time of our lives in Bhutan with your amazing itinerary... Our tour manager wasn't with us but he operated everything from a good distance. Our Bhutan tour guide Sonam ji and Pilot ji made our trip memorable by showing us Bhutan's amazing hidden gems. We are looking forward to come back to Bhutan and explore the other hidden gems soon in the near future with greater Travel Spirit, enthusiasm, Curiosity to see and know more places... I would like to add one more thing, I really appreciate that Bhutan is preserving their culture and traditions for the next generation.
